Teacher s salaries should be based on their student s academic performance

Essay topics:

Teacher's salaries should be based on their student's academic performance.

The topic stated above is very interesting to discuss because its relevant to entire academic structure. Whether teachers salaries should be based on their students academic performance or not, is a very interesting question. In my point of view, salaries should not be based on their students academic performance. we all know that a teacher is a friend, philosopher and guide.so by applying those constrain to their salaries is kind of insult for them and also it is like a mental pressure for them too. There are also some practical reasons behind my opinion.

First of all, there are lot of schools where the teacher-student ration is much lower, in those cases its really impossible for a teacher to give concentration to each & every student. So in spite of giving much effort sometimes some students are not able to do perform well in exams.so should we consider them as a fault of that teacher ? in my view its no, because if there were some teachers more in the school, then he could give more attention to individual students with explaining their problems and helped them to understand properly.

In addition, we can not deny that a teacher is also a human being so he also have some family problems like illness or others which may compel him to take leave for couple of days and if there were not sufficient teachers then students may not do well in their academic courses so we should take it with humanity. But, if teachers salaries depend on their students performance then it might be possible that when a teacher need a certain amount money to solve a family or personal problem and he must expect to earn that money from his salary,in that situation if some money get deducted from his salary then it'll create great problem for him.

Beside this, a student may also get ill before the exam.Even he had very good preparation for that exam, he did not perform well. so we should not blame teachers for that miss happening.Basically, we can not deny such practical circumstances where we cant blame neither teacher nor student.

On the contrary, if a teacher is not honest in his profession and he does not give attention to the students, he should be warned by the authority. Because, the future of the students totally depend on his hand.If he does not care about his responsibilities in that case authority may take some steps against him.But still i dont support that performance based salary.

To summarize, its evident that by giving pressure on teachers we can not solve the problem rather it will be worse.Depending on practical issues, we should think rationally to solve this problem not by punishing anyone.
