GENERAL WRITING TASK 1 IELTS

Write a letter to the head teacher about the talk you will give to the pupils, you should say :
- What’s your name and occupation?
- What will you say?
- What kind of things do you need to prepare?

Dear Sir or Madam
My name is Robert Korstim, a liaison officer of Yunans City firefighter. I am writing this letter regarding my speech which will deliver in front of your students tomorrow.

With reference to your letter of 3 july about the fire safety campaign, I would like to visit and give a presentation connecting with your program. Even though merely three staffs are setting this speach, I believe that we will arrange an absorbing meeting for pupils. Furthermore, there are numerous topics that I want to be demonstrated. First is reading a story, Dido the Dino learns about fire safety. All of children will receive a copy of our story book and many interactive activities in that section. Next, an introduction of five most common source of fire is presented with some examples like usage of matches, candles, or lighters. The last, my team will explain the function of smoke alarms. This even will take 3 hours presentation. Moreover, to support my speaking, it is better if you should provide a school hall as a gathering place and multimedia equipments such as a screen, speakers, a projector, and a laptop.

Finally, thank you for your attention. If you require further question please call me soon.

Yours faithfully

Robert Korstim
