Increasing the price of petrol is the best way to solve growing traffic and pollution problems. To what extend do you agree or disagree? What other measures do you think might be effective?
In the contemporary time, people have many problems such as growing traffic and pollution. Some people argued that an increase the price of gasoline is the best solution to solve. On the other hand, several people have different perspective which they think that the best way to repair.
On the one hand, supporters argue to decrease growing traffic and pollution is increasing the cost of oil. They think when value of petrol becomes higher that user's personal transportation would leave their vehicle because they need more money for buying. While consumers do not want to use their transport that automatically would decrease rising traffic and pollution. According to several countries in Europe, they create decision to raise the price of gasoline which the government success diminish pollution there. Hence, it is true that increasing the price of petroleum is the best approach to decrease growing traffic and pollution.
Nevertheless, several people have different way how drop growing traffic and pollution. They argued that increased the cost to buy petrol is not the best way. They think that the best way is creating way specially for bicycle. When a country build a way simply for bicycle, public would use bicycle for going to work or to go school. This solution provides double advantages which users would acquire more health when they use bicycle. Furthermore, country obtains benefit that they could decrease growing traffic and pollution. For instance, one of city in Indonesia, Jakarta, the government construct a way for bicycle that the government success decrease traffic significance which automatically come down pollution there. Thus, the best way decrease growing traffic and pollution is building way especially for bicycle.
In conclusion, both ways in above could drop increasing traffic and pollution. However, I firmly believe that the second way is the best way because of providing many advantages than the first way.
