Rules and laws are the foundation stones of a well-disciplined progressive society. Some people believe that individual should not restricted to do whatever they want to do as a part of their right. Others affirm that, people enjoy more liberty, through restricting some freedom.

Undoubtedly, in terms of peace and safety of the society, government publishes the rule and the laws. If there is, no laws some people will commit crime without the fear that the laws punish them. This may ultimately leads to an increased crime rate. For example, if shoplifters are not punished it will be difficult for shopkeepers to maintain their business. Some sacrifices and patience from the citizen’s part is pivotal for maintenance of peace and normal functioning of the society.

Additionally, rules are made for the benefit of citizens. People are happy when others do not infringe their basic rights. In other words, we gain more freedom through restricting some certain liberty. For instance, the driving rules of over speed helps, to diminish the accidents due to over speed and improves the safety of others on the road. Law-abiding attitude not only helps people to perform their chores well, but also prevents consequences. Accidental deaths and injuries are reported often because of its violation.

On the other hand, some citizen feel tried or trapped with straight laws of restriction. They often consider that disobedience is their right. For instance, driving under the influence of alcohol, street performance of bike stunts gives more fun especially for youngsters. It is dangerous for themselves and the innocent people those who face it. Stringent rules reduces its possibility.

In conclusion, governments and authorities impose laws to make a more civilized society. In order to prevent serious consequences, people should try to tolerate the inconvenience of these restrictions. Then only we could be able to enjoy a safer life.
