The line chart presents information on the number of grams of fish and meat, including chicken, beef, lamb, consumed per person per week in a European country between 1979 to 2004, a 25 year time-period. Overall, consumption of chicken, beef, lamb plunged over the period, whereas the amount of chicken that was eaten surged notably.

Based on the information provided in the line graph, although Beef first fluctuated between 180 to 230 grams, it subsequently levelled off in the 1980's, and finally slipped back drastically from the top in 1989 to a bottom of 110 grams by the end of the period. The similar pattern is observed on lamb, it was halved during the period, from 150 grams in 1979 to 70 grams in 2004. In addition, a slight declination can be found in fish consumption from approximately 50 to nearly 40 grams across the given period.
