Furthermore this number nearly triples the low income class. Meanwhile, the average income level prefers to purchase fish and chips (25 pence) whereas high and low income class spend almost the same amount pence for that food (approximately 19 pence). It seems the biggest pizza consumers come for high level salary (spend 20 pence per week) while average incomes only spend 12 pence and low incomes only spend 8 pence.

Nevertheless, there is a fast growth of hamburgers and pizza consumption between 1970 and 1940 (from under 100 gram to above 500 gram and from under 50 gram to nearly 300 gram). Whereas there is different situation in fish and chips which are decreased from 1970 to 1985, however it increased again after 1985 to 1990.

Overall, it can be concluded that generally the amount of consumed food is affected by income and there was a change of food demand between 1970 and 1990.
