Dear Srini,
I am writing this letter to request you to approve me five days leave from office. As we discussed before, this is a plan leave and as per our leave policy, I have updated the leave tracker in the month of Jan 2014. However, writing you this leave application with required details.
The duration of my leave is for five days. This will be from 1st June 2014 to 5th June 2014. 6th June and 7th June are weekends. Hence, I will rejoin the office from 8th June 2014. I have also communicated with my other team members, for their availability during my vacation.
Therefore, I will create a hand over document and I will hand over all my pending assignments to team members. However, during my absence, Rukmani will take the change and she will chair all the activity and meetings.
Nevertheless, during my absence I will have limited access to emails, but I will be available on my hand phone. Hence, team can connect me at any point of time.
