The bar chart below shows the percentage of Australian men and women in different age groups who did regular physical activity in 2010

The given bar chart compares the percentage of different age categories of men and women from Australia who did consistent physical activities in the year 2010.

Overall, it is seen that females between 45 to 54 age were the highest in the given year. Whereas, at the same point the male section was at the topmost in the age group of 15 to 24.

It is evident from the graph that the age of 15-24 was the only one where the percentage of men section was more than that of women which was 52.8% for males and 47.7% for females. It is interesting to note that both gentlemen and ladies of age 65 and above did almost equal physical tasks that are around 47%.

However, further analysis of the graph shows that the female percentage from the age of 35 to 64 was revolving around 52.9%. In addition, the women group between the age of 25-34 was approximately 50%. Moreover, the male portion was above 40% in the age group of 25 to 34, 45 to 54, and 55 to 64 but men from the group of 35-44 were in the opposite position that was under 40%.
