These data sources clearly communicate the figure for occupations in the tourism industry in United Kingdom over the course of two decades, initiated at 1989 and culminating in 2009.
Overall, it is patently obvious that the figure for employment relating restaurants witnessed a tremendous increase whereas the opposite trend was true for Sport and leisure as well as travel and tours.
In the first year of the graph, the number of jobs in restaurants was the dominance choice which reached the peak at 1100 jobs, compared to hotels sector at the impressive 1050 jobs. The figure for workers in sport and leisure came the third with the number around 900 jobs. Meanwhile, the number of jobs in travel and tours sector witnessed such low popularity, only roughly 800 jobs.
Looking at the bar chart more vividly, it is easily observed that the restaurants' sectors hit the significant to 1600 in 2004 then dropped to 1300 in 2009. There was corresponding upward trends in travel and tours, over 1000 jobs in 1994. In the 15 year’ time, this figure saw a steady descending tendency from 1000 jobs in 1994 to 700 in 2009. Meanwhile, the hotel as well as sport and leisure factors experienced an appreciable oscillation during the period.
