The diagram stipulates the information regarding the housing preference of citizens of United Kingdom in 3 major cities. The mentioned parameters are flats, terraced houses, detached houses, semi detached houses.

It is clear from the data that, London residents are more in to flats rather any others. Almost 58% of London's total residential area was dominated by flats. In cities like Oxford and Cambridge, the flats constituted only 28% and 20%. Terraced houses showed a different pattern. In Oxford 18% of houses were terraced one's followed by Cambridge and London with figures 17% and 18% respectively.

Detached houses were very popular in Cambridge, half of the population used to reside in theses type of homes. While, in London city, it was the least popular housing pattern only accounted for less than 10% of total housing. One fourth of people in Oxford city was also used this kind of houses. Semi - detached houses were equally popular in cities like Oxford and Cambridge with the figures of 28% each. It was least popular in London city, accounted only for 18%.

In conclusion, London residents opted flats as there most popular housing option. Whereas, people of Cambridge and Oxford preferred detached houses and semi-detached houses as their popular housing pattern.
