Write a report for a university lecturer describing the information shown below.

The charts illustrate various trends of educational participation and science in developing and industrialised countries in years of 1980 and 1990.

By the year 1990, there has been an increase for the average years of schooling and the number of Scientists and technicians for both industrialized and developing countries. In terms of average school years, developed countries experienced at least 1.5 years of upward trend, comparing that to a less than a year of increase in developing countries. There is also a spike in the number in 1980. the movement in developing countries is negliable increase. Industrialised countries spent at least threefolds than what they did in 1980 for research and development on the other hand developing nations spent lesser to half of its original expenditure in 1980 of $50 billion.

In conclusion, both types of countries have shown upward trends in all areas with the exception of research and development in enderdeveloped countries, by the year 1990.
