Describe the average hours of housework per week by people of different sexes.
The bar chart shows the average hours of housework per week done by married women in comparison with married man.
It can be clearly seen that there is an upward trend in hours per week of married women, while the average hours of housework done by married men witnessed a downward trend.
In childless families, wife and husband using hours in housework start at 30 hours and 20 hours respectively. But in families with one or two children, the number of wife's housework hours increases to 50 hours( additional 20 hours). Meanwhile, men's contribution in this work is about 15 hours. In addition, the time spent doing the household chore in large families( with 3 or more children) between married men and married women is equally divided. Men work fewer hours than about 10 hours whereas women's housework rocket to 55 per week.
To balance the time spent doing this work between wife and husband, they need create a timetable to share their work. The married men should help their wife more in the household chore.
