The diagram below shows the life cycle of a salmon from egg to adult fish Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make comparisons where relevant

The data information illustrates how a salmon is born and raised until it becomes a fully grown adult.

Overall, the salmon's life is divided into two smaller stages, the first starting from its incubation and covering salmon's rearing process until it becomes an adult, and the second depicts all the details of this particular fish's life from its maturation and migration to spawning areas.

In the first stage, salmon begins its life as an egg, and then quickly emerges from its egg and travels towards freshwater rearing areas. From that point, it starts to grow little by little and afterward migrates close to the river's estuary. As soon as the fish grows larger in size, it travels for the first time to the ocean and toward migration areas, where it becomes a fully mature salmon.

In the second stage, the adult salmon lives out in the ocean and has reached its full size. Then, it couples with other mature salmons and together they start to migrate to areas that are fitted for spawning. Once, they reach their destination, they quickly start to spawn new eggs, and hence the life cycle of salmon is completed.
