Turning into detail, car accounts for the highest proportion among 4 transportations, with 45%, followed by a 35-percent rate of Light Rail Transit. By contrast, the figure for bus is much lower, which accounts for only 10%. This number is equal to that of taxi, making them the least popular surveyed means of transport.
Regarding to reasons explaining why people choose cars for transportation, commuting to work occupy the biggest percentage of 55%. In addition, a 45-percent proportion makes business rank second, which is slightly higher than that of taking children to school. On the contrary, the smallest figure of 15% is shared by both leisure activities and shopping.
