The process graphs depict the life cycle of the silkworm and show the silk cloth production from silkworm.

Overall, there are four stages of the life cycle of the silkworm from eggs to cocoon and the silk production is done in 5 steps.

According to the first diagram, adult silkworm lay eggs in mulberry leaf and the eggs take 10 days to produce larva. The larva eat the leaf and take another 4 to 6 weeks to wrap them with silk thread. After, 3 to 8 days in the fourth stage of their life cycle they are converted into cocoon. After, fourth stage they become moth in 16 days.

The second graph depicts the steps required to produce silk from the cocoons. In the initial stage, the cocoons are selected. Then they are boiled in water and unwinded to produce around 300 to 900 meters thread. The produced threads are than twisted and dyed. The weaving is the last steps which require the dye as well. After, that the silk are produced and could be used.
