The pie charts compare the percentage of using energy in an average Australian household in different types of activities and also shows the greenhouse gas emissions from using that energy by the same activites.
In general terms, water heating, other appliances and heating are popular activities what accounted the highest proportion than other activities in Australian household energy use and greenhouse gas emissions.
It is clear from the pie charts show that the most bigger different energy are using heating and water heating (42% and 30% respectively) but the percentage of greenhouse as emissions had changed for both activities ( 15% and 32% respectively). Other appliances, accounted the highest proportion of greenhouse gas emissions of Australian household ( 28%) while they only used 15% energy.
In contracst, cooling had the lowest percentage for using energy and greenhouse gas emissions (2% and 3% respectively). On the other hand, using energy of lighting and refrigeration are similar change in greenhouse gas emissions. The former using 4% energy lighting and produced bouble the percentage of its emissions to 8%. The refrigration have the same situation about 7% in using energy but to 14% in greenhouse emissions.
