The flow chart illustrates the consequence of deforestations

Essay topics:

The flow chart illustrates the consequence of deforestations.

The flow chart shows what typically occurs as a consequence of deforestation.
In general terms, when forests are cut clearly, there are four main immediate effects, which eventually results in flooding, degraded vegetation and a loss of biodiversity.
One immediate effect is soil which has been compressed by heavy logging equiment. As a results, soil becomes hard and baked which contributed to run off of rain water and eventually flooding. Another consquence of logging is a reduction in the number of roots holding the soil in place. This lead to soil erosions. As a consequence, the quality and variety of vegetation is degraded.
The third effects is burning, both deliberate and accidental are increased risk of forest fires. The waste wood that logging is destroyed and the microorganisms that feed on this materal are lost. This is also leads to degraded vegetation. The final consequence is a reduction in the amount of moisure plants return to the air. This leads to less precipitation and an increased drought. As a results, this too reduces plant growth in degraded and a loss of biodiversity.
