A closer look at the diagram highlights the fact that Yakima Valley area was used the most in growing apricots, prunes and plums while other areas was used the least.

More specifically, all the land devoted in planting fruits decreased over this period time with the noticeable exception of Wenatchee which more land was used to grow prunes and plums from about 50 acres in 1993 to 100 acres in 2001. As the least are to use for fruit planting, other areas in Washington DC were constantly be used to plant prunes and plums by slightly less than 50 acres from 1993 to 2003, while just over 50 acres were used for apricots in 1993 and 2001.

Another fact worth noticing is that an extreme change was found for prunes and plums in Yakima which fell by 900 acres in 2001 from 1400 acres in 1993.
