comparisons where relevant.

A graph provided reveals the information on the comparison between the amount of energy produced and consumed in the US over a 50-year period from 1950 to 2000 and the prediction of those figures for 2025.
Overall, there was a significant extended gap between the patterns for energy’s production and consumption.
It is clear evidence from the chart that since 1950 when the United States used all of 25 units of energy produced, there were steady rises on the amount of energy produced and energy consumed; however, the latter had a faster speed. Accordingly, there was a shortage of energy in the US and they had to imported from other countries to meet their demand. Over a 25-year period saw a fluctuation at the unit of energy’s production, approximately 65 units, meanwhile, the use of it continued growing dramatically to nearly 100 units in 2000.
This figure is under projection to soar sharply to over 125 by 2025. The US government will have to face with great shortage and huge import of energy when the predicted amount of energy produced will increase lightly, stood at 85 units.
