On the other hand, coal and gas resembled a growth until 2015. Although After that coal kept on its rise to almost 30 quadrillion units by 2030, natural gas underwent a constant trend during approximately 15 until 2030 by almost 25 quadrillion units.
When it comes to nuclear, solar/wind and hydropower sources of energy, their consumption was the same about 4 quadrillion units by 1980. Nuclear followed a gradual rise from 1980 to 2030 and met 6 quadrillion units at the end. Similarly solar/wind had a slow increase during these year except a slight drop during almost 5 years (1990-1995) and reached 5 quadrillion units by 2030, while story about hydropower was somehow complicated. It experienced a bit growth until 1995 and by a little fluctuation until 2010 again stood on its initial amount by 4 and remained steady until 2030.
To sum up, it is obviously revealed that the popularity of the fossil fuels during these 50 years was significantly dominant, while the consumption of environment friendly sources of energy couldn’t improve that much.
