The graph below shows the amount of money spent on books in Germany, France, Italy and Austria between 1995 and 2005.

The given kine graph depicts information regarding the spending of people in four countries on buying books for a period of 10 years from 1995 to 2005. The mentioned parameters are Germany, France, Italy and Austria.

It is clear from the data that, German people spent more money on buying books rather than anybody else. They had maintained their top position during the entire period of time. In 1995, they spent almost 80 million USD on purchasing books, that is higher than any other nationalities spending even after the10 yers of time. This figures riced gradually till 1999 where their spendings reached not so high figure of 90 million USD. Then the figures showed declining trend till the year 2003. By the end of the period, the sales went to a staggering figure of 90 million USD.

All the other three nations, France, Italy and Austria showed a similar rising trend during the period of 1990 to 1997. In 1997 France and Italy spent almost same amount of money on books, 55 million USD each. After 1997 the figures showed an opposite trend. France spendings were increased continuously While, Italy's buying pattern showed a decreasing trend. In the end both countries achieved their highest figures in 2005, 62 million USD and 52 million USD respectively. On the contrary Austria spent least amount of money on books in 1995 (30 million USD), but achieved third position at the end with the figures of 62 million USD.

In conclusion, it is evident from the chart that, books were very popular among Germans. Whereas, Austrians were least interested in buying books but at end they improved their position.
