The given line graph compares the amount of fish and other kind of meat consumed by a person every week in a European country from 1979 to 2004.

It is noticeable that the consumption of chicken meat rose dramatically for 25 years. On the other hand, the amount of beef that consumed by a people every week decreased significantly on this periods.

Looking at more details, beef is the most favored meat to consume in 1979, with above 200 grams per person per week. It reached its peak in between 1979 and 1984 by almost 250 grams of meat. Then, it gradually decreased and touched just around 120 grams in 2004.

However, the chicken meat is the third preference of the people's choice who want to consume meat in 1979. It below the beef and lamb, respectively, but above the fish with almost 150 grams of chicken consumption per week. It rose gradually and touch about 250 grams in 2004. The lamb, on the other hand, decreased to slightly above 50 grams in 2004. Meanwhile, the consumption of meat is steady around 50 grams per week per person for two and a half decades.
