The stipulated line chart depict the information regarding the number of complaints made in relation to sound pollution to Environmental Health authorities in the Newtown metropolis in period of 16 years from 1980 to 1996. The mentioned parameters are road works, traffic noise, factories, domestic or household.
It is clear from the diagram that, road works constitutes more complaints than any other factors. Road works and traffic noise showed almost similar pattern, in the year 1980 there were 500 and 300 complaints respectively. Both complaint factors were reduce to its minimum during 1986 - 1988 period, which is 400 and 200 complaints. There was significant complaints against road work noises from 1988 to 1996 and its reached at peak with 1200 companies at the end of the era. Likewise traffic noise also showed the same trend but in a different level.
Complaints against factories and households showed a declining trend despite it's initial high number of complaints. In 1980, there was 400 and 610 disputes raised against these two annoying factors. However after the 16 years of time the industry fuss figures were reduced to a not so low as level of 650 complaints. while domestic disturbances reduced drastically and reached below deck figure of 100 complaints.
In conclusion, disturbances relating to transport sector showed a rising trend. While noise controversies in connection with industry and domestic sector reduced to a minimum during the time.
