The given graph indicates the proportion of staff spread in five different European nations, who took a day off or more because of illness in 1991 through 2001. Having a quick glance first, it is obvious to conclude that Germany had the least number of absent labours due to illness, while Netherland reported the highest percentage of them. Over a decade, Germany and the UK' figures had kept literally the same, remained approximately 1.9 and 2.1, respectively. Different from the first two nations, there was a steady rise in Sweden in the later five years, which jumped from around 3% to under 5% at the end of 2001. Another significant varying was belong to France, with a stable decline from slight over 5% down to nearly 3%. Last but not least, Netherland came at first place with the highest amount of staff' absence even though had gone through a dramatic fluctuation. Even though Netherland's data reached the bottom at 4.2% in 1996 but overall, overall its performance was still outstanding the other four nations.
