Overall, it is evident that rugby was the least popular discipline among 4 items over the period. In addition, while the figures for tennis and badminton generally declined, that for basketball displayed an upward trend.

Turning into detail, in 1985, badminton and tennis shared the same amount of 200 competitors. However, over the next 20 years, the number of badminton players plunged, whereas that of tennis made up a mild fluctuation.
