The given chart depicts number of car heist per thousand cars in four nations during a decade from 1990 to 1999. The mentioned parameters are Unite Kingdom, Sweden, France and Canada.

It is clear from the data that, Britain's figures were far higher than any other countries. During 1990's UK's stolen car figure was 18 per thousand cars. But, after some fluctuations in the next few yers, the figures were topped at 21 cars in 1996. From 1997 onwards the number of car theft showed a gradual decrease and reached Great Britain's lowest figure of 17. Sweden also showed an increasing trend. From it's initial figure of 6 cars, it had reached it's not so high as figures of 15 within a period of 10 years.

France and Canada showed almost the same trend despite some fluctuations. They faced moderate threat from thief's during 1990's, the stolen vehicle figures were 7 and 8 respectively. In 1993 Canada's car theft was reached at it's lowest recorded number of 5 cars per thousand cars. Till the end of the priode the figures were at the same level. Whereas, France records showed some ups and downs and reached it's by far the highest figure of 7 in 1995. One important point to be noted that, at the end both the countries theft rate reached at the same level of 6 cars per thousand vehicles.

In conclusion, both Canda and France were able to reduce their car theft problem to a certain level. While, Britain's and Sweden's figures showed a high rate even after a decade.
