Essay topics:

The map shows the development of the Chorleywood village.

Given is the map explicating how the neighborhood Chorleywood adjacent to London evolved during the interim starting from 1868 and ending in 1994.
Prior to the actual territory settlement by human beings, the region had been originally paved by two arterial roads direct to the south and the east. From 1868 to 1883, the resident area was situated along the main road to the north, nearby to Chorleywood park and golf course located in the hub. Following 40 years was the expansion of the resident area southward along the main road. Meanwhile, the railroad passage was erected transversely to the main road and crossing the area to the east in 1909. Also located in this area was Chorleywood station.
Furthermore, through a next 50 year span time from 1922 to 1970, the village kept expanding westward and eastward lengthways the railroad. At that time, the motorway was constructed to the north of the village. In the late of 20th century, a colossal acreage around the intersections of the motorway with the railway and one of the main roads was already occupied.
