The number of parcels
The diagram given illustrates the number of parcels delivered by two major mail service companies from 1920 to 2000. This diagram includes two lines which show the statistics about these two companies.
The white line shows us about the number of goods delivered by TNT Mail Service. It is observed that in 1920, the number of parcels stood at 5000 packages and rose steadily to reach about 8000 after 30 years. This was followed by another increase which came up to 12000 in 1960. However, after 20 years, it declined steadily before increasing slowly in 1980. There witnessed a rapid increase in the total number of packs from 11000 to 22000 in 1990. After reaching a high point at 1990, postal parcels reached a peak at 25000 at the first year of 21th century.
