Essay topics:

A good friend has just changed schools and is having difficulty fitting in and needs your advice.
Write a letter to your friend. In your letter
*make suggestions as to how they could make friends
*suggest joining clubs, participating in school activities
*give any extra general advice

Dearest Moni,
I am missing you a lot. I can understand how tough it would be to get set with your new school environment.
Though, your new classmates avoid you at first, mingle with them and get involved in class activities. Help and assist them in clarifying subject doubts.
Also, find a travel friend who can accompany you from school to house. If you get such a friend from your class itself it will be too good. You can also study together.
As you are good in writing English poems and essays, I would suggest you to join English club in your school. Participate in both inter and intra school competitions and prove your talent. You can easily get recognized in your new school.
I would also say that in the urge of making friends, don’t fall into a bad company. You know it very well that getting a good name and holding on to it is very tough but getting a bad name is very easy. Do not trust anyone easily. Think twice before doing anything. If you feel something is not right then do not proceed for others words. Update often about your whereabouts to parents. We cannot blame anyone after something unexpected happened. So stay safe and cautious.
We will meet when we have long weekends and during vacation. Take care.
With love and regards,
Kirthika.
