The pie chart illustrates the means of transports, which are popular in Edmonton, while the table shows the reasons why people use their cars in this city.
Overall, as can be seen from the pie graph, there are the equal figures for people using buses and taxies. Another visible trend from the table is that using the cars to commute to work is the most popular purpose of people living in this city.
Looking at the details at the pie chart, it is obvious that the car is the most trendy transportation in the city, with 45% of people using it. 35% of people who said that they chose LRT to commute, compared to 15% of people who used buses and taxies.
Regarding the table, the percentage of drivers in Edmonton needed to commute to work is 55%. The figure for cars which are used for a lot of business purposes and take children to school is lower, at 45% and 40% respectively. The Edmonton’s people making use of cars to go to shopping and take part in leisure activities see the same lowest proportion, at 15% of both objectives.
