Dear Sir or Madam,

My name is Anne Wong and I live in Shatin. I am writing to you in response to a revision of the railway timetable which has been effective since 1 December 2019.

My office is at Admiralty, so I used to go to work by taking the West Line of the railway, i.e. getting on the train at Shatin Station each morning and getting off at Admiralty Station. However, from 1 December 2019 onwards, the West Line no longer includes Shatin Station, which means I need to take a bus first for 30 minutes to Tai Mo Shan Station, and then get on the train there to go to my office. This has caused my traveling time to increase from 30 minutes to an hour. I think it is not acceptable.

I would be grateful if you could change the timetable so that the West Line includes Shatin Station during peak hours, say 7-9 a.m. and 5-7 p.m.? I think this is more reasonable and will be welcomed by most citizens living in Shatin.

I look forward to your reply.

Yours sincerely,

Anne Wong
