The line graph elucidates information about the consumption of petrol and it's producing quantity in China, over 24 years from 1982 to 2006, measured in millions of barrels each day.

Overall, oil consumption has gradually escalated after a continuous steady and the amount of fuel-producing has also made a little increase rather than the past in China in this period.

More specifically, Chinese citizens were consuming only 2 million barrels per day in 1982 and this measure preserved and remained constant until 1990, approximately 3 years, however, the utilization of petrol progressively escalated and achieved a peak from 1990 until 2006, when the barrels' quantity came over 6 million every day.

Moreover, China had just 2 million petrol barrels at the beginning of the period which was 1982 and this quantity raised to 3 million in 1986, unfortunately, from this year to 1994, during the 8-years period, this amount remained steady and from the next years, the number of barrels has merely risen, subsequently, came to a half millions in 2006.
