Computers are being used more frequently in school lessons. Do you think this is a positive or negative development?
Nowadays, using computer is getting dramatically in schools. It is probably due to the wish to enhance the lecture's quality. However, there are benefits and drawbacks of this trend. In my opinion, I think that the positive development would be getting on. This essay will look at both pros and cons.
One of the biggest advantages of computer is to permit users to create an efficient study which drives from a various of available patterns or distinctive software. It is not only an enormous library but also might be provided without any fees. Moreover, there are many softwares such as diagram tool, Microsoft Powerpoint and so on that can help to develop visual materials for class and to make it more attractive.
Another issue is that it can offer a virtual meeting environment for many people who are in distances to learn and to communicate as well. That is a positive change in the way doing happens. Especially, at this time of Corona pandemic, human acitivity has been changed the methods into social spacing, the needs of virtual meeting become more and more necessary.
On the other hand, computer might cause many diseases related to eye sight, heart and mental. As it spends long time on the internet, it seems unavoidable of eye strain, blood pressure and stress. The uncertain guaranteed is another negative side. Provided that it can be extremely convenient, people appear to ignore the risks of private data would be stolen. By sharing information in public networks leads to out control information or may harm itself.
In conclusion, computerizing in education is boom in recent years with gain and loss. Personally, I believe that it would be a better change in teaching and learning methods.
