It is irrefutable that advanced technology changed human life compared to the previous centuries. Nowadays, we can talk with our near and dear ones by click on a single button. Some people argue that people become more interactive and socialize because of new inventions, while others say that it made them anti-social. In my opinion, people involved themselves in social activities because of modern technology.
There are plenty of points which support my opinion. To initiate, there are lots of applications that help to interact with our kith and kins who stay in other countries. For instance, we can interact with persons who stayed in any corner of the world via Facebook, Instagram, and what's up. Additionally, people create community groups on social media to find solutions for social issues. To illustrate, individuals share their ideas and opinion in the group regarding the problems which help to find an easy solution. Besides that, modern transportation facilities are fast and convenient. For Example, by using the metro, train, and plane people can reach their homes within a day. Despite this, it is undeniable that technology increased interaction with each other. Finally, social sites are a platform where people can connect with unknown persons from other countries.
On the other side, it decreases the face to face conversations. To describe it, if we can talk with friends over the phone then why should we go there for just interaction. As a result, we cannot recognize the feeling and emotions behind the conversations. Moreover, people believing in a temporary and virtual relationship. Furthermore, people attend a social event and conference online, as well as pay bills online, and shop online which makes them anti-social.
To conclude, It is true that technology gives a platform to us to interact with others but at the same time, it takes face to face interaction from the formula.
