Question-------Summarize the points made in the lecture, being sure to explain how they challenge the specific theories presented in the reading passage.Reading Passage--------------Animal fossils usually provide very little opportunity to study the actua

the reading passage says that fossil reports are not great a reliability when compare with the soft tissue examination, according to the reading passage tissue examination gives more accurate result when compare with fossil reports.

firstly, reading passage claims that tissue examination is more important than fossil records because the fossils are gradually become the minerals so that can't useful for the fossil records. to prove that reading passage states that T-rex is tissue structure which gives the whole detail of dinosaur even it lives 70 million years ago.

but the speakers refutes that information by stating that when the animal died it goes for decomposition and leads some kind colonized debris that can't be blood vessel but according the reading passage it is blood vessel.

secondly, reading passage states that scientist found the sphere like structure in the bones, they said that is red blood cell because of color, dark red color due to the iron content but the lecturer explains that most of the animals are not having the red blood cell and their blood cell are different. so that red color may be due to some kind minerals rather than the red blood cell.

thirdly, according the reading passage the collagen tissue can preserve for long time like millions of years. but speaker suggests that the preservation capacity for the collagen tissue only about 100 thousands of year and not more than that, so the tissue examination itself can not provide the exact report of animal which was lived more than millions of years ago/

further more professor explains that t rex could be from the skin because skin also made of collagen tissue only.

to conclude according the professot point of view fossil reports are much accurate than the tissue examination reports.
