TPO-11 - Integrated Writing Task A recent study reveals that people especially young people are reading far less literature, novels, plays, and poems, than they used to. This is troubling because the trend has unfortunate effects for the reading public, for

The passage states that professional painting titled Jane Austem is original portrait and it provides 3 reason of support. However the professor disagree with it and beleive that evidences are loosly connected and not convincing.

First, the passage claims several years after death of the Austen the family gave permission for it to be portrait. On the other hand, the professor beleives the image authorized in 1880's and in the corresponding years parents of Austin hadn't
any chance to see the person in the portrait.

Second, the passage provides some reason that the portrait clearly resemble the original person. However the professor sayes in that time there were many teenagers and it is not relevent to the actual person in the portrait. In addition, professor provides an example of Austen's niece, Mary campain who can resemble the original person in the portrait.

Third, The passage informs that the picture clearly illustrate that the person is a teenager. On the contrary, the professor opposes with it and beleives the person wich the passage identifies was actualy about 47 years old and hadn't any chance to see the person in the portrait. Also according to the picture, Austin seems older than a teenager.

According to these reasons the idea that the girl in the portrait is Jane Austen hasn't any basis so that according to the professor comments the picture correspons to some one else.
