In the reading passage, the author claims that "let it burn" policy, which allows forest fires continue burning without human interfiering to extinguish it, render the environment damaged() by pointing out three reasons of support. However, finding all the ideas implausible and questionable, the professor casts dount on what is presented in the text and states that "let it burn" rule is not always destructive, but it is constructive many times which demonstrated that indeed it is a good regulation.
At first, the author argues that deminishing the vegentation is one of the first adverse ramificatin of this policy. Conversely, the lecturer brings up the idea that scroching has created the suitable environment for other plants to colonize in that place. Actually, diversification in plants occurs after each fire since other speacies take this opportunity to grow. For instance, having found more unshaded space, the small plants can grow well. In addition, take the Yellowstone fire as an example. There were a lot of seeds that require heat to germenate. Hence,() if this fire would not happen, the seeds could not have germinate.
In addition, the reading passage holds the view that wildlife undergone a sever decline in various animal speices. On the other hand, the professor disputes this point by clarifying that as of clonizing() the small plant, a lot of small animals such as rabit and hair are tempting to live there. Subsequently, the predators of them will attract to the new environment. As a matter of fact, they produce a new life cycle and food chain which is undoubtedly far stronger than it was before the fire.
Finally, the author assert that the presence of fire in such location, which its economy is closely dependent to the tourists, can end up with a substantial drop in the number of visitors. The professor, thought, dismisses this idea by subscibing to the point that this will happen if the fire repeated frequently, but the Yellowstone fire has not happened after the1988. Besides, so various is the factors which lead to a decrease in tourism rate that it is less possible to combine with each other and cause this economy disaster. Thus, people come back again after that fire regularly and promote the tourism indistry in that region.
