The professor casts doubt on this point by saying that although ethanol releases carbon dioxide into natural, it is made from plants like corn, which aborb huge carbon dioxide as nutrient and remove this gas from environment.

Second, overuse from ethanol hurts to farmer animals' diet since these animals eat plant like corn, as the author claims, is repudiated by the lecturer. He mentions that ethanol is made from cellules in the plant not other nutrient parts. It does not eat by the animals. Thus, useing from plants for making ethanol never reduce plants available for the animals.

Third, the reading points that ethanol is so expensive and cannot compete with gasoline in price aspect. In contrast, the speaking says that in the future, ethanol will be compete with gasoline price because people more use from ethanol as fuel, and it provides a condition for increasing product and diminishing price.
