Nowadays, people spend less time eating, let alone cooking. For that reason, junk food is so popular but is not healthy.
Eating a “diet” of junk food can lead to terrible medical conditions.

First of all, this type of fast food is high saturated in fat and lacking in nutrients. Bad eating habits and be less active cause too much body weight, which is linked with an increased risk of colon and rectal cancer, and is probably linked to a higher risk of cancers of the pancreas, endometrium, and breast cancer.

Secondly, eating hamburgers, pizza, hot dog, among others causes chronically high insulin levels which eventually prompt your cells to begin to ignore this important hormone. When your muscle, fat and liver cells do not respond to insulin normally is because you are having diabetes.

Thirdly, consuming highly fattening junk food makes gain weight because you tend to eat more as this type of food is less satisfying and lower in vital nutrients than healthier food.

To sum up, not all junk food is bad for your health but consuming it regularly can cause cancer, diabetes and obesity.
