A letter sends to me in the future
Dear future version of me,
I'm writing to you, Pha, twenty years in the future. How have you been lately?
I hope it will be not a too-long letter that you, a person may be busier than me now, can take a piece of time to read it and remember what you vowed to yourself and all the effort you put in. However, I am not writing to convince you of anything, even expect a response letter, I just hope this letter will be useful advice, another available direction whenever you get lost in your life and remind that you and I are quite self-aware and very cognizant of our strengths, weaknesses.
2019 was one of the most particularly wonderful years of our lives to bear in mind. This was our second year in university, which we have gradually reached our interest in translation. We found the art and our sensitivity in it. We also found it considerably difficult at the beginning of this process. We lost in the dictionary for hours to look up the appropriate meaning of words, but it's like our invention when the word came out and it motivated us not to give up our desire. By this way, I planned to read more book, enrich our knowledge and improve our long term memory for you to show in the future. The second thing that I want to remind you of any single time in your life is the moment you got your first job as a Teaching Assistant. The moment that we decided to go outside the box and experience new things. Meanwhile, the first part-time job we applied is not our major and the salary is not so much to mention, but it has brought us a great deal of soft skill. We learnt how to manage our time effectively through arriving workplace on time, we had a chance to experience the working environment where there are seniors that always follow, control our working behaviour or even our common behaviour and sometimes they provide us with useful advice that helps us become a better version.
Eventually, I'm hoping you're much further along in this process than me, but I'm going to start by acknowledging it. I feel its edges and can see its depth. I hope you feel like you've overcome the storm in ways you didn't think possible and are surprising those around you with your limitless nature.
