INTEGRATED ESSAY.

The passage and the lecture discuss about the different strategies of solving a problem. However the leccture expresses two different problem strategies from the article with examples to support the way it influences the solution.

First of all, the lecturer presents the role of break as the most effective step to solve a problem effectively. Hence, when we take rest our brain becomes more capable of analyzing the problem clearly and sleep helps us to solve more difficult problem. Yet this strategy is also influenced by sleep and break.

Secondly, this strategy has a disadvantage that is called incubation effect. The lecturer cites an example of snake bite in the dream in case of the experimenter Benzin is a good example of the incubation effect, but she casts doubt if the unconscious mental activities do really exist or not.

Finally, she explains further that sleep leads to appearance of the problem in different patterns that influence the solution . Here she gives the example of a dream that represent a tringle as multiple triangles to form a dome. Further, she says that break is also supposed to present the problems in an ineffective pattern, which leads to solve the problem in a different state of mind after a break.
