Knowledge and learning are key contributors in overall development of a student. There are various sources to obtain knowledge. Schools, colleges are the best medium to learn and gain knowledge. Student should always have curiosity and eagerness to learn new things. An inquisitive mind have always a lots of questions while learning. Students should ask questions what they are taught instead of accepting it passively, if they have doubts in the concepts.

In an effective teaching and learning process, interaction between teacher and student is necessary. If students discuss their doubts to the teachers, that will be not only beneficial to that particular student, but to the whole class. For example, now a days in the timetable of schools and colleges schedule, extra tutorials and interaction sessions have been introduced. The purpose of these tutorials sessions is to enhance and encourage more and more interaction between teacher and students.

With an inquisitive and curious mind a student can learn in a better way. If student raise his doubts to the teacher, then he can well understand the topic and will have a proper grasp on the subject. Sometimes students hesitate and feel awkward to ask their doubts in front of whole class. So its a responsibility of a teacher to encourage and motivate the students for raising their doubts and make them comfortable for the same.

While attending a class, if a student has some manifest doubt, he feels uncomfortable to rise his doubt, but it is possible that, that doubt help him to understand the whole concept. So without thinking about tininess of their doubts, student should question their doubts. Self learning is also a process of gaining knowledge, but sometimes students stuck at some points and it will be an obstacle in further learning and creates misconceptions. So they can raise their doubts to the teachers in the class.

In a class if students are interactive , then teaching will be also more effective. The appropriate and healthy environment of the class and interest of the student will develop interest in teaching for a teacher. So proper discussion and interaction is advantageous not only for proper learning and effective teaching but also for overall personality development of a student.
