The diagrams below show the stages and equipment used in the cement-making process, and how cement is used to produce concrete for building purposes.Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevan

The diagram is stating the different stages of cement and concrete production. Apparently, as in the figures, there are some connections between cement production and concrete production which we will consider them subsequently.

First of all, the limestone and clay as the first materials, are crashed with an equipment named 'Crusher', and come out as powder. Later on powder gets into the mixer and becomes as a mixed powder. After mixing, the powder enters a particular heater named 'rotating heater', and the temperature would dramatically increase and causes the powder become into a compound. The compound enters a grinder and makes pure cement.

As shown in the diagrams, the concrete phases need cement. Accordingly, for producing concrete, we would need this portion of materials: 15% for Cement, 10% for Water, 50% Gravels, and 25% Sand. The portions are compulsory. When we were sure about the portions, we have to use an equipment named 'concrete mixer' to mix the first materials. The outcome of this stage is pure concrete.
