The graph given shows the main sources of energy for USA in 1980 and 1990

The pie charts depict the information about the five various ( oil, natural gas, coal, hydroelectric power, nuclear power) sources of energy for USA in the year 1980 and 1990.

Overall, it can be said that highest proportion of energy was obtainted from oil and least percentage of energy is produced from hydroelectric power in the both years.

A close look on the graphs make it lucid that 42% of energy was gained from oil in 1980 which was decreased to 9% in 1990. The ratio of energy produced from natural gas was just above a quarter in 1980 which was declined slightly to 25% after 10 years. The same proportion of energy was produced from hydroelectric power between 1980 and 1990 that was 5%.

The energy produced from coal was recorded to just below a quarter in 1980 which was increased by 5% in 1990. The percentage of energy produce from nuclear power was 5% in 1980 which was increased slightly and get doubled in the year 1990.
