The figures reveal the outputs of a research through education for adults. The first picture describes the motivations of adults in pursuing education. The second illustration depicts people's perception of cost- sharing towards adult education.

According to the bar graph, the two main purposes why adults pursue studying are because they are interested in a given subject and in order for them to acquire qualifications as these two reasons resulted to 40% and 38% feedback respectively. Meanwhile, the percentages of the study for reasons of helpful for current job, improving prospects of promotion at work, and that they enjoy studying were all in the range between 22% and 20%. A small share students, 12% and 9%, suggests that education can be helpful in changing jobs and to make acquaintances with new people.

From the second chart, it is seen that individual payers should cover the highest cost at 40%. Next, employers are suggested to share 35% of study costs. Fewer people, at 25%, thinks money from taxpayers should be considered to the adult education.

In summary, older people study based on their interests and whether they can acquire additional qualifications. Furthermore, people surveyed suggests that individual students should cover the cost of their education.
