Description: The IMPRS-AM is an exciting, Interdisciplinary PhD Program that will motivate young scholars to choose a career in research. In addition to the structured program of scientific learning, a training program in complementary skills will be provided. Finally, the courses will be conducted in English, since the program is open to all nations. The concept of the research school is based on the premise that PhD Students can benefit from a forum that brings together the entire condensed matter community in Stuttgart. In addition to broadening the students’ scientific horizon, specific synergies can develop if concepts and techniques are widely shared and jointly explored.
