Information technology is changing many aspects of our lives and now dominates our home, leisure and work activities.
To what extent do the benefits of information technology outweigh the disadvantages?
These days, as we are living in the modern era and the dominant technological innovations are rapidly developing, people in the twentieth century incline are got affected strongly technology in order to apply in their daily life. Besides the negative aspects, I believe that information technology has offered lots of helpfulnesses. I feel this way for some reasons, which I will outline in this following essay.
To begin with, years ago, individuals took months to send and receive a letter with news from their relatives and friends. It was such a time-consuming and sluggish way to fully communicate with one another. Yet, today, we can spread messages, contact and get access to our acquaintances, as well as make new friends. With the advent of technology, we are connecting closer and feeling comfortable regardless of the distance.
Secondly, each person can become a professional expert at almost every profession by self-study with the support from computers or electrical items. it has given opportunities to everybody to get educated by themselves. There are more than one trillion terabyte of documents on internet. Additionally, a massive part of those are books, journals, articles and other educational materials, such as online courses, videos, etc
Finally, nowadays, as individuals incline to get swamped with variety of work, they do not have time to go shopping or purchasing things at stores. As a result, they have their goods shipped effortlessly and directly to their houses with the convenient delivery service by ordering items on the internet with several manipulations.
To sum up, I am of opinion that information technology has brought a lot of positive consequences with these upmentioned reasons.
