The line graph provides the information regarding the consumption of fish, chicken, beef and lamb in a European country over a 25 year periods, from 1979 to 2004.

As an overall trend, we can clearly seen that, in 1979 beef was most popular among them with about 220 grams per person per week. The usuage of chicken and lamb were almost same around 150grams per person per week, while the fish was eaten very less about 60 grams. Although, the amount of beef and lamb consumption dramatically fell down throughout the years between 1979 and 2004 and it reached to approximately 110 grams and 60 grams respectively by 2004. The consumption of fish was the least popular item during the entire periods from 1979 to 2004, it decreased around 50 grams in 2004.

On the other hand, the usage of chicken rose gradually and it scored almost 250 grams per person per week in 2004.

To put it in a nutshell, the striking feature of the graph is that the consumption of chicken had increased wildly and the usage of other food items climbed down over the entire periods.
