The given table illustrates the ratings of freshmen on five different aspects: pre-course information, teaching, tutor, resources (print) and other resources in three majors. It can be seen that while Commerce received the highest percent of "very good" grading of 95% in two sections, the lowest percent of 60% is achieved by Economics in "Other resources" section.
The first category to look into is the Pre-course information. The propotion of positive opinion in Economics and Laws is 59% and 72% respectively. However, it can be noticed that Commerce scored an outstanding figure of 95%. Next is Teaching section. While both Economics and Commerce gained a figure of 95%, Laws experieced a quite poor percent of 62%.
For the Tutor category, both Economics and Commerce received an extraordinary amount of "very good" ratings from first year student of 90% and 93% respectively. In contrast, only 76% of students thought highly of Laws tutor method. Over 80% of freshmen graded the printed resources of Commerce and Economics as absolutely good and around 70% of them thought so about that aspect of Laws. In the last section, the lowest percent went to Economics of 60%. However, both Laws and Commerce had more than 80% of 'very good' ratings coming from the students about their Other resources.
With having no aspect that gaining more than 80%, the Laws major had the average lowest figure of highly gradings from freshmen.
