The given bar graph illustrates the figure for the accommodation chosen by British when they went on holiday in 2010 with 4 different types: self-catering, caravan, camping, and hotel.
It is clear that the proportion of people from England and Scotland are merely the same. Hotel was the most preferred type of accommodation. Varying from approximately 52% to 55% in these two regions, it accounted for almost twice the percentage of people having chosen self-catering (almost 30%). Camping and caravan were the far less preferred by people in England with about 12% and 6% respectively, as opposed to Scotland with 12% in caravan and 6% in camping.
In Wales and Northern Ireland, hotel still was the most accommodation selected by people, about 49% and 45% respectively. Caravan was much often chosen as a dream accommodation(around 30%) in Northern Ireland, almost three times as much as Wales.
In generally, hotel is still the first choice for accommodation for most holidaymakers.
